How does this work?
What We Provide
Hand crafted, locally sourced, and globally inspired menu options, fully prepared. We offer individual and family size breakfast, lunch, appetizer, and Signature Meal options. All items are labeled with ingredient and allergy information, storage and re-heating instructions. We have multiple Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Low Carb, and Keto options available, and are happy to make accommodations for dietary preferences and allergies.

Order online from the: Apps.Tapas.Small Plates and the Salad + Sammies menus. Orders must be placed by 3pm the day prior to pickup, or delivery. *See below for delivery locations and times.
Signature Meals are seasonal, feature locally sourced items and provide a balanced meal with a protein, starch, and vegetables. Vegan or vegetarian, chicken, beef and chef special options are available each cycle. Signature Meals require additional time to source and prepare. These orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours prior to pickup/delivery.
Current Signature Meals are available Sunday, November 10th through Saturday, November 23rd. The last day to order these meals is Thursday, November 21st. Signature Meals change every other Sunday.
Thanksgiving Menu Pre-Orders
These holiday menu items are available for pre-order Friday, November 1st until noon on Sunday, November 24th. Pickup and delivery dates for these items will only be available the week of Thanksgiving. MealSmith will operate under normal business hours except for Thursday, November 28th. We will be closed on Thursday, November 28th. Click here for our Thanksgiving Offerings.

Confirmation of Order
For all orders, once you submit payment online, you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your order. Once your order has been made you will receive another email letting you know it’s ready for pick-up (or on it’s way to you).
Choose your Pick-up Location or Delivery
Grit + Grace in Downtown Mebane, or in Hillsborough at 500 Valley Forge Road (Right off of I-85) at our kitchen.
Residential Delivery Program
An adult (over 18) must accept food and sign for delivery as items must be refrigerated immediately.
Mebane delivery days and times are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5pm-7pm.
Hillsborough delivery days and times are Tuesday + Thursday from 5pm-7pm.
There is a $5 delivery fee for all residential deliveries.
We deliver individual lunch orders to businesses in Mebane, Efland, Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, and Durham.
There is a minimum $5 delivery fee for all business deliveries (based on distance from kitchen).

MealSmith signature Meals
These meals have been thoughtfully handcrafted with side options that compliment the main protein. There is a beef, chicken, vegetarian/vegan and a Chef’s Special option available every cycle.
New specials are posted every other Sunday.
We started MealSmith with the purpose of making locally sourced and globally inspired dishes accessible and convenient to rural Orange County. Our goal is to embrace and support the ever-growing and diverse local community. We have hopes to expand our delivery services to surrounding areas like Efland, and Haw River by the end of our first year. We have carefully selected local partners to ensure they share our passion and love for sustainable and locally grown products.
